The Arabica is a dining-height tub chair with an architectural twist. The curved upholstered shell, here in a deep green leather-look material, wraps the back and sides. Flat slabs of blonde solid wood flank it front and back, running from arm height down to the floor as legs. The wood and the upholstery never fight for attention: each part is simple, and the joint between them is clean.
The tub shape gives guests support on three sides without the bulk of a lounge chair, so it works at a regular 29–30 in (74–76 cm) table. The timber panels protect the upholstery corners from scuffs where chairs meet table legs.
Construction: plywood and hardwood shell with high-resilience foam; solid wood side panels bolted through the frame; commercial lacquer and floor glides.
Where it works: cafe dining rooms, all-day restaurants, banquette-facing seats where you want something more comfortable than a side chair.
Options: vinyl, PU leather or contract fabric (COM/COL accepted); wood stain; foam specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request. Dimensions confirmed on the shop drawing.
