The Sage is a dining armchair rather than a lounge chair: seat height is a standard 18 in (46 cm), so it pulls up to a normal cafe table, but the fully upholstered tub shell gives guests the comfort of a club chair. It is the chair for window four-tops and for brunch services where guests stay for an hour.
The shell is built on a plywood inner frame with high-resilience foam and wrapped in a smooth sage faux leather (in the photo), which wipes clean with a damp cloth. It sits on four tapered solid-wood legs. The low, continuous arm is kept below typical table apron height so the chair slides in.
Where it works: four-tops, brunch rooms, cafes inside hotels and residential buildings.
Options: any vinyl, faux leather or contract fabric (COM/COL accepted); leg stain. For the US we specify foams and fabrics to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
