The Roast is our answer to the most common coffee shop request: a chair that looks warm, takes up little room and cleans in seconds. The back is a single curved panel of molded veneer, carried on a dark powder-coated steel spine that runs down behind the seat. That spine gives the back its flex and keeps the profile slim, so the chair tucks fully under a 24 in (61 cm) two-top.
The seat is a padded pad upholstered in a cognac-tone material in the photo; for high-turnover counters we recommend a bleach-cleanable vinyl, for slower rooms a tightly woven contract fabric. Legs are solid hardwood with a sealed lacquer finish and replaceable glides chosen for your floor.
Where it works: two-top runs along a wall, laptop tables, bakery-cafe dining rooms. It pairs naturally with our Walnut Plate-Base Two-Top.
Options: veneer stain to match your counter, seat material and color, steel color, felt or nylon glides. A counter-height version can be quoted.
