The Plate-Base is the workhorse of a cafe floor: a square walnut-tone top on a slim black steel column and a low square plate base. The plate is heavy and flat, so it stays put when guests lean on the table, and its low profile does not trip feet or catch mop heads.
Its simplicity is the point. You can line these up along a bench, push two together for a group of four, and split them again in seconds. Every table has levelers set into the plate.
The top is walnut-tone veneer or high-pressure laminate with a sealed edge. For the busiest shops we recommend laminate with a matching edge, which handles hot cups and sanitizer sprays without marking.
Where it works: opposite a wall bench, combinable two-tops, laptop zones.
